About the event

Join Justin Goldstein, Yesod Farm+Kitchen Scholar in Residence, in exploring the fundamentals of ancestral Jewish agricultural wisdom. Understand the intersection between agricultural, economic, and ethical values which build a just and equitable society. Experience how the wisdom of our ancestors can add meaning to our lives today. Join others in imagining a more healed world for future generations. Through group discussion and partnered text-study, we will investigate the fundamentals of ancient Israelite urban planning, the system of agricultural mutual aid (leaving the corners of fields, gleaning, leaving forgotten sheaves, etc), tithing, and agricultural/economic remission.
